Most of our members (40 plus) live in the Hendersonville, North Carolina area but our membership extends from north of Hendersonville to Spartanburg, South Carolina, Georgia and Florida. Some of our members are employed and some are retired from a broad spectrum of professional careers including engineering, business ownership, aircraft piloting, architecture and education. We have a number of friends of the Chapter that we hope will become QCWA members in the future. Membership age ranges from 52 to 94 years young. Click to view Chapter 76 Roster & Friends Our monthly program meeting is held on the first Wednesday of each month where we enjoy lunch and program presentations on technical, business, and community subjects. We also get together just for lunch (eyeball) every third Wednesday of each month. Our meeting location is the Golden Corral restaurant, 2539 Chimney Rock road, Hendersonville, N.C. Start time for meetings is 11:15 A.M. During the year we arrange for field trips that include lunch out and a visit to local research centers, manufacturing operations, businesses, and other areas of interest from the membership. In December, we only have one meeting, a Christmas Party on the first Wednesday of the month where we celebrate Christmas, our friendship and accomplishments for the year. |
